TRYOUT REGISTRATION FEE: $50.00 / TRYOUT LOCATION / CHILD
PARENTS CAN REGISTER THEIR CHILD OR CHILDREN FOR ANYWHERE FROM 1 TO 5 TRYOUTS.
EACH TRYOUT IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR EACH ATHLETE TO SHOWCASE THEIR SKILLS AND ABILITIES AS THEY LOOK TO EARN A POSITION ON EACH OF OUR REP TEAMS. MORE TRYOUTS WILL INCREASE THEIR CAPACITY TO WORK ON SKILLS THEY MAY HAVE NOT SHOWCASED AS THEY WOULD'VE LIKED AT A PREVIOUS TRYOUT OPPORTUNITY.
ALL TRYOUT FEES WILL GO TOWARDS THE PLAYER'S REGISTRATION FEE.
ANY ATHLETE THAT IS NOT CHOSEN FOR A TEAM, WILL RECEIVE A 50% REFUND OF THEIR REGISTRATION FEES.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR ALL ATHLETES (MALE AND FEMALE) BETWEEN BIRTH YEARS BETWEEN 2008 - 2017

EACH PLAYER MAKING THE TEAM WILL NEED TO SIGN A CONTRACT COMMITTING EXCLUSIVELY TO THE CFFA DRAGONS FOR THE YOUTH REP 2026/27 SEASON.
TEAM PRACTICES WILL TAKE PLACE 3 DAYS PER WEEK
TEAMS WILL PARTICIPATE IN MULTIPLE TOURNAMENTS THROUGHOUT THE REP SEASON

Derek has been my son’s flag football coach for five consecutive seasons. His enthusiasm is infectious and has significantly enhanced my son’s love of the game, and sport in general. Childrens sport is often at risk of becoming too serious, to the point that the fun is stripped away. However, and especially these days, childrens sport can also often become devoid of competitive spirit or focus on actually developing individual and team level skill sets. Derek’s unique ability to balance these objectives is uncanny - the kids are learning and the kids want to win, but never at the expense of inflicting too much pressure or reducing the focus on fun, even one iota. Derek is a unicorn coach and my family feels exceptionally lucky to have him in our lives.
